El Dia de los Presidentes
It's Presidents Day here in the states. All the schools are closed, mail service is cut off, and state employees are probably still in bed.
But the mall is open. The kids practically dragged me there.
We shopped.
We ate lunch.
We shopped some more.
We got candy at Fabulous Candy Store.
I definitely need a nap now.

Oh I loooooooove fabulous candy store. We don't have President's Day in Canada. I wonder why?
When school is out parents should be treated to a spa afternoon followed by a few drinks.
The kids' after-school program at the daycare was open all day today.
I went to work.
The kids were "bored" all day.
What would a holiday be without the malls being open?
